Our gifts are created according to your budget, so choose how much you are comfortable spending and we will work to that amount - no surprises! If your gift is not for local delivery, please include a figure for delivery costs when setting your budget.
How do I Know How Much to Spend?
First, think of an amount you would be happy spending on your gift - in fact, you probably already have this figure in mind. Then, have a look through our Designer Range to get an idea if your budget is on target for the type of gift you want to create.
Apart from that, it is very simple how we cost our gifts, and we hope you will find them good value for money. Let us explain how the process works...
Our Passion For Great Value
When you place an order with us, we will cost your gift according to the contents you have requested. We cost the items at recommended retail price (RRP) so you shouldn't pay any more than if you'd bought the items yourself (especially if you factored in the time, energy and petrol it takes to pick them all up!). We like to offer items your basket recipient would not buy for themselves, so the majority of our products will not be found at the supermarket - or at supermarket prices. There is also a cost associated with the basket/box/bag and the wrapping/ribbons/card which needs to be included.
As well as making sure all the contents suit your recipient, our priority is to make sure your gift looks impressive no matter your budget. We do this by mixing the value of the items so we give you the maximum contents possible for your money (as well as a good mix of items). We are also happy to advise on the best type of container for your budget - for example baskets are usually more expensive than gift boxes.
Occasionally, if we have to go shopping for a special item for your gift, you may be charged a bit extra for our time - hey, we've got to eat too! If this is not suitable, you are welcome to purchase the extra items yourself and we will include them in your gift.
Payment Options
Credit Card - if you wish to pay by credit card, please advise us of your number by phone, or leave us your phone number so we may call for your details. We do not currently have a secure web payment service, and it is best to never email credit card details.
Internet Deposit - we welcome payment by Internet or bank deposit; our account number will be shown on your invoice. If you wish to make a deposit into our account please ensure you order ahead of your required delivery date as gifts will not be dispatched until your deposit shows in our account.
Cash - you are welcome to pay in cash if you are calling in to our workshop.
Cheques - we accept personal, company and bank cheques issued in New Zealand dollars, made payable to Made-to-Order Limited. If you are posting a cheque, please ensure you add your invoice number as a reference and send it well ahead of your required delivery date. Gifts will not be dispatched until cheques have cleared.
Corporate Account - we offer 20th of the month payments for pre-approved customers who have completed a credit application form. Please contact us if you wish to arrange payments on an invoice basis.
