Community Support

Supporting Great Causes

We are a New Zealand owned and operated company and very passionate about supporting local and national business.  We are also always keen to get behind good causes and support our local community.  We do this is a number of ways:

  • We support local businesses by using their products and services within our company, which we feel makes the best business and environmental sense.  If you know of a fabulous local product that others would love to receive, please let us know.

  • We love a good cause!  Each month we donate a basket to a local community group looking to raise funds for a special reason. We have given baskets to be used as raffles, in silent auctions, as spot prizes, and just for general good will. Over the past few years, we are proud to have supported the Marlborough Ruru Trust, RNZAF Racquet Sports, the Association of Administrative Professionals of New Zealand (AAPNZ), Marlborough Stroke Group, Plunket, Her Business Networks (Nelson/Marlborough), Relay for Life, Wairau Hospital Health Fair, the Blenheim SPCA, Future Fruit, the Rotary Club of Blenheim, Tania Morgan and Andrea Snushall (travelling to Cambodia to provide free dental treatment for underprivileged children), Blenheim Baptist Women's Ministry Team, and the Marlborough Gardening Club.

  • If you are part of a community group running a raffle for a good cause, you may have put together a gift basket yourself.  If you are having trouble giving your basket the professional touch (the better the basket looks, the more tickets you will sell!), we would be happy to provide a complimentary wrapping service for you.

How You Can Help

In the past, you may have been the recipient of a gift basket.  Once the goodies have gone, though, what do you do with an empty container?  If you don't want it lying round your place gathering dust, we have a special area in our workshop for donation baskets.  These are then gifted to the causes listed above which allows us to reuse your baskets for the good of the community.  So why not have a clean-out and do something nice for both yourself and the people of Marlborough?

If you wish to discuss anything on this page, please contact us or give us a call.

Supporting Local Causes

Quote On behalf of the Marlborough Ruru Trust, I would like to thank you for the way you so generously supported the Trust's 'Allo Allo' event held at Drylands Winery.  Your gift basket donation was very generous, and your support was heartwarming for the trustees.  We are sincerely grateful. We thank you for your contribution to the cause of providing appropriate housing for our community's disabled
people. Quote2
